Floral Accent
* Bedroom carpet is mauve pink - Help me choose a color to paint the walls and choose my curtains! *?
Firstly, the carpet can not be changed. Secondly, right now the walls are self-white and I'm not feeling it. Thirdly, when I say pink purple, let me remind you that no baby girl pink, it is not Barbie pink. Fourthly, my room is real small. (I'd give measurements but I'm not there right now. But believe me, it is small.) It is also square, not rectangular or oddly shaped. The ceiling is flat. I also have three sets of curtains I can choose. (The room has one window.) I can establish solid purple with pink lace w cream white accent / valance match, a curtain of white lace with a floral design, or a pure substance with an all over rose design that resembles watercolor in various shades of pink. As you can tell, I am a female designer. I am 19 years old. I like vintage things. I love roses! I love all vintage look shabby chic, boudoir, French, Victorian, or beach cottage chic look. Feel free to add other suggestions !!!!! I love decorate!
You could paint the walls a sort of off-white or cream, but if you do not play it so safe, light gray would be nice. Or you could find the shade that best compliments green purple pink if you want to paint the walls green or blue would be nice and bold. I think I would with gray walls and the curtain rose print. Curtain rods white beauty would be a beautiful accent, as would accent pillows that match the curtain with your theme.
