help me find a genre of music for a costume party?

My friends 18th coming up. The theme is "come as a famous musician or genre of music. "Does anyone have any ideas for a costume that would be awesome but outragesly not cost too much money? I want to go as a gogo girl or something of the disco era, but I'm not sure what to wear and how to do my hair. Any suggestions or links or anything What would be great! THANK YOU! ^ ^

anyone of the 80 would be easy. You can get lots of 80 clothing shops like Supre etc your hair well if you go with a musician of 80 and crimped hair. Big curly hair up high and there colors. im sure watever you wear will look great, enjoy your friends 18th =]
