How many of you still wear thongs platform?

I wear them because my boyfriend really loves my feet and legs in them if they does look a little awkward, but they are comfortable for walking, and nothing for him please. I have a pair in 3inch and a really great pair with a platform 5 inches with straps zebra skin. I refuse to wear these "sandals Dyke" Birkenstocks. They look cool 2-3 years ago, but do you think the platform thongs are just out of style and cheap little thin flip flops are back?

Firstly, the question threw me off until I realized that you were talking about shoes! Are they really called thongs? I think if it makes you happy and your son happy, why are you interested whats "in"? Come on, be original.
