Thongs Flip
I live in Australia and allows me to meet my girlfriend's parents for the 2nd time I can wear flip-flops (thongs)?
The parents of my girlfriend commented Last time I met them (first) I was wearing sandals and they thought it was a little strange. My girlfriend is agreement and now asked me not to wear thongs at the weekend. I do not think it is a deal and they should be more interested in my personality. Is it just me, who think anything that's weird to wear flip flops to meet the in-laws?
Strings I thought the official footwear of Australia. What is the problem? I can see if you go to a nice restaurant or theater that are not appropriate, but otherwise they are acceptable footwear. Why would you be false and not wearing what you're comfortable with? If your girlfriend and her parents can not accept you for who you are, you owe it to yourself to find someone who can. Do you really want to be surrounded by people stuck all your life?
