What type of fabric the curtains could be made so is my microsuede sofa and leather?

We have clear-ish gray carpet, white walls (we rent) and a stack more such matches the sofa. I think in light tan in color Curtain .. What type of fabric as the curtains should be made? Perhaps a rough texture? I am not sure!
A coarse would be great introduce more texture in the room .. just stick with a medium to heavy weight and not swerve to coinside with heavier equipment that your furniture is made from.
