Springs vs. heels soles?
Has anyone tried the two below: (1) running shoes with springs in heels (2) shoes Running shoes with springs in wondering what gives more comfort? I find that hiking boots or trail runners are too steep for me - my feet are sensitive, so they hurt. Are there any brands with springs in heels / soles that are soft on the inside of the shoe (Not stiff, I mean really comfortable, like Saucony Grid, Nike, Asics etc. PS Also relevant is that I can not tolerate high arches in shoes, that's why Sanita, Keen and even Born hurt me. I am a small woman, narrow at the ankles, bones protruding from the ankle and a foot wide bed. Apollena answer was not relevant to my question. No, I do not use running shoes for practice, rather for operation in large city, because I do not own a car. I am desperate to wear comfortable shoes for leg type described above. Let me luck never get the answers that I desperately need.
